Hivos is a NGO based in the Hague, the Netherlands. Open Progress has worked together with Hivos on several projects. With Wikipedia IGNITE we aim to improve to harmonise the use of MediaWiki and organise the people and organisations that develop MediaWiki functionality and content. When people are organised in what we call Wikipedia BOOST, we hope to benefit from best practices, more cooperation and in the end more efficiency.
