GerardM or Gerard Meijssen is the chairman of Stichting Open Progress.

I am an active proponent of the Wiki communities and have had an active role in the Wikipedia, Wiktionary and Commons projects of the Wikimedia Foundation. As I became dissatisfied with the duplicate work in Wiktionary, I started to develop the concept with Sabine Cretella for what was to become OmegaWiki.
